Monsters Among Men

On July 21st, 2028, the world learned the truth, monsters were real. However, their existence goes back much further.

Recently internal transcripts leaked from YOKAI hint that the decision to revive Gojira came less from the worries of Dr. Hawkins, and more from the discovery of ancient Aztec codex in the UNAM archives. They depicted a lizard-like monster slaying a giant bird.

Stories of giant monsters have existed as long as recorded history. Long seen as myths and legends, one now has to ask, was there a time before 2028 when monsters lived among men?  In a shocking recent discovery, archaeologists found Ukiyo-e prints dated back to the 17th century depicting, once again, a giant lizard locked in battle on the slopes of Mt. Fuji. His enemy this time, a golden three-headed dragon.
