While passé compared to the later Super X models, the X-1 was a behemoth for its time. Designed to work as a forward operating base for the US Military arm of YOKAI, unfortunately met its match in the form of Rodan, less then a day after its maiden voyage. Still, despite its short lifespan, the plane paved the way for the future of the Super X series.

At well over 1,000 feet wide, the X 3 is, to put it mildly, massive. Yet, despite this hulking size the X-3 is surprisingly elegant in design, harkening back to the dreams of the atomic era nearly a century ago.
